European Children’s Summit 2009 under the patronage of Ján Figel’

The European Children’s Summit 2009 has found a famous patronage:
Ján Figel’ is Member of the European Commission responsible for Education, Training, Culture and Youth.

Concretely, he will strive to bring about a better understanding of others' cultures and wider recognition of a common heritage, while fully respecting cultural diversity, so its written on his homepage.
His aim is to ensure that politics take into account the needs of Youth and that this happens for the young with the young.
Ján Figel’ is Member of the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) and he is Slovak.
